Former president, Barack Obama once said, “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country.” Then a senator, Barack Obama unabashedly made that factual proclamation, with a clear understanding and vocal opposition of the adverse effects of illegal immigration on our country as a whole.
A lot has changed since the 2005 iteration of Obama spoke so sensibly, in support of legal means to American citizenship.
Since then, the obvious strategy on border policy, enacted, in part, by Obama himself, with his un-Constitutional executive order – DACA: “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” – in 2014, is to pander to the illegal aliens breaking our laws, in order to receive their illegal votes, cast illegally in states like California and New York, that encourage the illegality thereof and support it fully with taxpayer monies.
In this election year, illegal immigration has emerged as the crucial issue, as indicated by various exit polls across all state primaries so far. On Super Tuesday, California and Texas held their primaries, with a majority of polled voters citing illegal immigration as their primary concern.
The issue of illegal immigration is surpassing other party platform issues by double digits, with the economy and abortion rounding out the top three voter concerns in most states.
The stark reality that concerns Americans is the fact that we do not know who is crossing our border, and, once here, whether or not they are being monitored in any meaningful way. Murder, rape, and other capital offenses are being perpetrated by so-called “asylum seekers” in unprecedented numbers. Several recent episodes were committed by repeat offenders released back into society on “zero bail” policies in sanctuary cities or states, only to commit further, often more horrific crimes.
The inevitability voters are facing, is recognizing their vote is being rendered pointless by illegal aliens who skipped the line and slipped through the gigantic holes, both literal and figurative, in our border policy, atrocities which must be laid squarely at Joe Biden’s feet. Democrats passionately campaign on behalf of “undocumented citizens”, hoping to earn their loyalty, and more importantly, their (illegally cast) vote.
The America that the Democrats (and their “dark money” donors), want and need to stay in power is a tyrannical, anarchical reality we all face. Biden’s ongoing, horrific “mishandling” of illegal aliens and the wide-open border is a deliberate ploy to usurp the power of the people via “democracy”.
Ronald Reagan famously said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
This prediction is upon us, and what we do now will be the pivotal juncture between right and wrong, and not simply an issue of the Right vs. the Left. James 4:17 says, “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” Now is the time to “do good” work and proactively resist the evil that threatens to envelope our great nation – for the benefit of us all.
